Unfortunately we've had a terrible experience with this restaurant. The "general manger" TONY is extremely rude and I'm shocked he is managing this restaurant. Very unprofessional. I hope he's nicer to his employees at least. Won't be going here anytime soon:(

They has better meat and its grilled. There got very skinny fries but i liked it. Good service. There has lots kind of ice creams. I had to give five stars for this

I've only been here once and I've only had the Concrete Turtle. Just from that 1 item I can tell that I'm gonna love this place. Who doesn't like the classic burger and fries joint with ice cream! Prices are pretty decent, but definitely seems worth it. Staff were very nice and quick. Must go back to write a more in depth review.

Freddy's had me at skinny fries. I'm a sucker for skinny fries and not only were these thin, crispy and delicious, but they gave me a portion with my combo that could have easily fed two people. As for the burgers, I would opt for the double on all occasions. I got the single and was disappointed by the lack of meat thereof. The patties are unique and thin. Trust me, big or small, man or woman, child or fully grown, go with the double. I would go back. I would recommend this burger joint to friends. I will vouch for the fries, no doubt.

Freddy's has a great old school atmosphere. The steak burgers are unique but very good, they have a slightly different flavor from what you get from other burger joints but that's what makes it a fun experience. The fries they serve are shoe string and are good for what they are (I'm not a big fan of shoe string fries). The ice cream is defiantly what makes the place a must stop when I visit St. George.

Their veggie burger was pretty good -- nothing spectacular, and a little bit on the expensive side for what it was -- but good all-around & for under $10 I got a burger, cheese fries & a small drink. I'm sure I'll go back, but the main draw to get me to go back there will be if I want one of their frozen yogurt sundaes in-addition (or instead of) a burger & fries, as they have a large variety of mixings & toppings which look great -- especially during out 100+ degree Summers.

dang! that is a good burger. this is my go to place for lunch in St. George. shoe string fries are kind of a pain to eat but they are really good. i haven't tried the custard and probably never will because custard sucks, long live ice-cream.

I am new to town, have never heard of this place, but let me tell ya! Amazing food, thin but juicy burgers and fantastic fries! My wife and I had a ton of questions, but they were all answered (by the general manager I believe) who was incredibly helpful and informative. I wish that every fast food place understood how to take care of customers like this. Very clear that the management and employees care about every patron. The fries were almost too hot (if that's possible) and this fry sauce stuff was delicious. The patty melt bread was toasted to perfection and adding the green chile (as recommended by the manager) was insanely delicious! He then brought us a turtle? Sundae for my wife and I to share, which I was going to purchase anyways, but he gave it to us for free and said it was life changing. Not a lie in the least! Perfect! Highly recommended!

The place just open 2 days ago. friendly service. We went at lunch time they were packed and service was very fast. They serve very thin thin fries . The place looks like any fast food restaurant recently open in town. Over priced ,the burger meat is very thin, when you order the burger they ask you if you want cheese and you pay extra basically the cheese not included or the bacon which described in the order . So you will end paying for a meal in fast food joint about 9$ and that is expensive . Rather go to In and out or 5 Guys.

Amazing burgers, with perfectly seasoned shoestring fries. After sitting down an employee brought us a turtle sundae free of charge and asked if we wanted one on the house. Who can turn down a free turtle sundae? Employees were super kind and courteous, my wife said it was like grandpa asking us what we wanted for dinner when we ordered.

This place is amazing! Great custard and burgers! The staff is so helpful and nice! I would highly recommend going. You will not regret it!
(5)Matthew K.
Burger was interesting, a really flat patty with seasonings. On par with a 5 guys. The chicken sandwich was pretty flavorless. Fries were tiny as people have already explained. Crispy. Fry sauce was good. The strawberry concrete was good. Super creamy.

Nasty!!! If you are looking for a burned, beef free burger, that is what they serve here. My wife and I stopped here for dinner on our way through town. Possibly the worst burger I have ever had. The patty is a wafer thin wisp of burned beef. I got the double, and there was less beef than on a cheap McDonalds burger. Both of our burgers were hard to eat because of the horrible burned taste. I will definitely not go back! If you want a burger stop anywhere else and you are sure to get a better meal.

Friendly environment and fun for all ages! This old fashioned diner feel goes perfectly with their menu. The custard is what truly sets this place apart. It's good to see a place that is still hiring today's youth and teaching them good work ethics.

I really like Freddy's, the burger that I had was very tasty, very fresh and didn't fall apart. There are a wider variety of choices that most fast food burger places. Their frozen custard menu would do an ice cream store proud. The staff were all friendly and hard-working.
(5)Mike M.
Meh..... I had never been here before. I will most likely never go again. Not good, not bad, just meh.
(2)Bradley J.
I have been eating at Freddy's across the Midwest for sometime. Burgers and fries are awesome and don't forget the fry sauce with jalapeño juice added. Employees are very friendly and great service here in St George.
(4)Alicia W.
All I can say is, YUM!!! This place is my new fave burger joint! I'm talking burgers that melt in your mouth. The skinny fries are delicious too. Definitely recommend this place!
(5)C L.
Like the Wendy's commercial always said 'where's the beef?' The triple steak burger looked more like a single steak burger and part of the meat was burned!! The bun looked more edible than the 'meat' patty. Also, the cheese on the Philly cheesesteak had a funky odor that made me feel a little nauseous. Fries were so thin. One star for good customer service
(1)Megan Q.
The food was quite oily and the portions of meat are small. Plus, my meat patty was burned all around the edges. You pretty much are filled only by the bread which is also cold and greased with oil. It would have been a little more tolerable if the workers were more hospitable and could get an order right. The worker who helped up was sassy and rude. Being someone who tries a lot of places and encounters many people, I know that there is a fine line between being rude and being someone who is just trying to do their job. This was not the case. And I do not think I would come back nor recommend it to a friend if they were in the area.

Meh. Just ok. Burger patties are SUPER-THIN. Not cool. Cheese? Extra! Bacon? Extra! Fries? Also super-thin. REALLY not cool. The food was just OK, but for the price it's just not worth it. I can get a better, bigger Burger and awesome fries at Five Guys, or even In-and-Out, for much less. Not going back.

Good job freddys utah!! Your food was awesome. From a supervisor at las vegas location. You guys did an awesome job. Food was hott and good! Fast service and a very clean facility. Guest interaction was ok. Keep the freddy factors always in mind. Thank you
(5)Bud H.
This place is definitely as good as it gets for fast food. I just wish there was one in Salt Lake. The burgers are always nicely seasoned, perfectly cooked and have a nice char to the meat while maintaining a good amount of juiciness. And their shoestring fries? Simply awesome - always crispy on the outside yet pillowy soft on the inside - just as fries are meant to be. Perfect burgers + perfect fries = 5 stars
(5)Julie D.
Amazing! Freddy's has, possibly, the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. I have eaten a lot of hamburgers! The hamburgers remind me of ones my mom made when I was little, they have that homemade taste. The French fries are thin and equally delicious. I am pretty sure our meal wasn't healthy, but it was delicious!
(5)Brooke D.
This place isn't so bad... The patties? They are so thin, really they need more meat added! The Fries? They are so thin and small! It is so loud in the restaurant, I couldn't hear what the cashier was saying to me. The only good thing about this place is the custard, but it is overpriced.
(2)Dean H.
Blows in and out burger out of the water. The fries are amazing, burgers are delicious, and the custard is so smooth and creamy!!!
(5)Steve V.
Stopped here for lunch before we head back home. The burgers were great!!! The fries are good. They are the shoe string style. The custard looks very good. I'm not getting one due to the fact that I have a long drive ahead and I know I would need a nap. Anyway, my daughter had ordered the chicken fingers and they had served her what looked like two chicken nuggets. I did take it back wondering if there was supposed to be more. The gal said yes and said that she would bring us out another order. The manager actually brought it out and gave us a card good for a free meal for our next visit. Now that is customer service!!! We won't probably use the card but it was the gesture.

I just discovered this place and I must say I LOVE IT. From the perfect burger exactly the way you want it to the perfect fries. And FRY SAUCE! Also, they have Pepsi products which my hubby and I prefer. He had the dog and said it was very "east coast". Which means he liked it a lot. We usually hit Costco for gas in st. George, and now it will be Freddy's too.
(5)Daphne C.
Ice cream was awesome! Great variety and flavors! Service was polite and prompt. Went through the drive-thru, and got cones, a sundae, and a concrete mixer. Everyone loved it!
(5)Chris H.
The burgers are thin and have a great crispy crust on them. I loved it so much I went back for a second burger before our sunday. At first I thought it was just run of the mill soft serve but it's really a fresh custard that is made fresh and has not been in a deep freezer. Yum!
(5)Emily F.
I have only ordered one item from Freddy's, but so far I am a fan! I was craving a strawberry shake one day and although they don't have it on the menu, they made a special strawberry shake up just for me. The drive thru was a little slow, and I think I paid about $5 for a very small shake, but it was delicious and refreshing. I will be going back soon!
(4)Dean B.
Very tasty custard with a crazy assortment of flavor options. I prefer their "concrete" - with the ingredients mixed into the ice cream. Not a great name, but the flavor is awesome. Burgers are quite good, and both fries and onion rings do not disappoint. This is now or family's go-to place for burgers and shakes when driving thorough Utah.

We received Outstanding service from Katlyn tonight! She was so polite, helpful and understanding. We ordered a concrete with MALT thinking it was the powder, but to our surprise it was a syrup which did not taste good, so we went back and had her just make it as a normal malt again with the syrup (thinking it would be better as a blended malt) and again it did not taste good. So we went back a third time and she happily re-made another one with the malt powder and it turned out PERFECT. So FYI if you order a malt from Freddy's request it be made with the POWDER if you want it to taste like any other malt you have had.

So, the question here becomes immediately is this place better or equal to Five Guys? That answer is no, but perhaps the question is unfair. This one had a much more extensive menu (especially with desserts) and is definitely angling towards a 50's malt shop feel. Still, since they take pains to call themselves the 2nd best burger in St. George, according to The Spectrum, let's take it blow by blow. Soda fountain: 5 Guys has Coke Zero. This place does not. Peanuts: 5 Guys yes, here, no. Fries: 5 Guys is admittedly a mess there. Here, they have nice shoestrings. Some would call this a push, but here I give them the nod. Décor is push, with both of them kind of dull and stacked in red and white. Menu is a mess here, but it's not a fair comparison directly. Still, this one is actively confusing, so a point deduction. With 5 Guys heavily in the lead, we look to the main stars, which are the actual burgers. The burger I got was split in half, across the thickness, apparently in order to make the "double" I ordered. I have no idea why they would do that, but they did. Flavor was solid, but a definite step down from 5 Guys. Both are about the same speed, but 5 Guys will bring it out to you and here, they call your name over the PA. It was nice to try it, but this one is definitely more towards the middle, in terms of sort of higher end burger joints chains. I'd rather go here than Smashburger, but not by any great amount. 5 Guys is still the runaway winner for best upscale chain burger.

Really good burger. Still probably ptefer 5 guys bit really good. Will definitely be back.
(4)Monica B.
Stopped here on drive back to LA from South Dakota. So glad we did! The food is super yummy. The concrete (shakes) are excellent! I had the Hawaiian delight and I know I'm gonna crave it again soon! Only reason gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the burger patties are pretty thin.
(4)Lisa N.
Not too happy with my food here today :( My hamburger was burned all the way around and had a wild meat taste. We wanted tomatoes but it was served without. I think the Hotdogs need to be sliced open and cooked instead of served round. Fries are small cut and you have to get a few to make a good bite ;) The frozen custard was nice and creamy. We had the Hawaiian sundae. Also we shared an apple pie shake. Touted to have a whole slice of pie inside!
(3)Pick C.
The food and custard were fantastic. I wish they cut their fries a little thicker but I understand that shoestring is their thing. I love this place
(5)Michael C.
Fries: a 5 star - soft shoestring fries with a crisp with their seasoning Peanut butter cup banana shake: 5 star - tasty shake. Burger: 3.5 star. Got the bacon cheeseburger and it was a bit dry but flavorful. After first bite, I added some peppers and it tasted better. Atmosphere: 5 star. Great place to stop and eat.

Worst concrete ever. All toppings were on the bottom of the cup only. Chocolate lovers beware! It was bitter and watery. Find another place or go to store and buy Ben and Jerry's for less. They also charge .60 extra for a dab of whip cream and cherry. No value, no flavor, no good.
